BROKEN JARS
From the shadows of brokenness you have found me,
Led to your presence with your kindness and mercy.
Though so unworthy, still lovingly you saved me,
Stood by patiently and have never forsaken me.
Now standing within your light,
Shattered, I have no more will to fight.
You have broken down my defenses,
Stripped me of all my pride and pretenses.
Washed and healed my hurting scars,
From the wounds,
I have kept in broken jars.
Now I am down on my knees,
Oh, Jesus do with me as you please.
No longer will I hide the hurting scars,

THE CHANGING HUES OF THE ALBERTA SKIES
Lord Jesus, you are the maker of the universe high above all else.
Your beauty and splendor is reflected in the wonderful work of your hands.
We stand in awe of your greatness.
As we travelled on highway 63, home bound to Fort Mac, God displayed a splendid array of Art. He painted the Alberta skies with amazing, fiery colors we could never have imagined.
First, we saw a mist brewing ahead on the left side of the road. Thereafter, the sun was setting on the west, and the moon was rising on the east. So, as we gazed from either side of the vehicle we saw a magnificent view of God’s wondrous creation in action. God was intensely painting the sky.
As the afternoon progressed , a big rainbow appeared making a halo for the moon that was rising in the east. It was breath taking.The clouds and the skies changed hues so many times. The colors were mesmerizing.
And as the night deepened the Aurora Boreales slowly started its formation in the sky.
The clouds danced and swirled gracefully . The white formation gradually turned into a
Yellow green color. The full moon’s brightness set the stage for the Aurora.
Then the Big Dipper appeared like a backdrop of jewels joining the show. Wow! There was a festival in the sky.
Amidst the darkness of the highway below, we stopped and staggered out of the vehicle entranced with God’s spectacular handiwork.
Oh, Lord your creation is so awesome. Who are we to deserve all these?

Just think of the good times that we’ve had
Gotta be busy, gotta do our best
Cause I know God will do the rest

Gotta look up and follow God’s plan,
As He leads us faithfully by the hand

ALBERTA SKIES 2012 ( Just A Prayer Away )
Close your eyes my child.
Rest your weary soul for a while.
Then in your dreams follow me.
Let my eyes make you see.
Glimpses of sites you have never seen,
Take you to places where you have never been.
Let my ears make you hear different melodies from afar.
Together we will listen.
Even in the silence, even from the distance.
With God’s endearment let me hold you close to my heart.
To make you feel we have never been really far apart.
Together we are here to stay for we are just a prayer away.
Yes, just a prayer away.
Together, we will gaze at the same skies, the same moon,
And the same stars.
Together, we will raise our hands to reach the rainbow,
While running through the meadows, along the flowery fields, soaking under the sun.
